:: sigh :: I bought the pattern for these gloves. There’s quite a bit of scuttlebutt about them on the Ravelry FGF board, so I caved. Kind of glad I did: there’s a construction technique that I’ve never tried before on these. It may even inspire my lame butt to design some new stuff.
I really need to get my a$$ in gear about Christmas knitting. So far, I have the yarn for Mom and Jamie’s presents purchased (although no patterns set yet), and some stash enhancement that can cover up to 12 people. I can’t want to bind off the BYOB so I can cast on for my first ever SWEATER! I think if sweater #1 goes well, then sweater #2 will be Liesel. I’ve completed Verity twice, own Rose Red and Gretel, and love how easy to read Ysolda’s patterns are. Plus, the yardage is relatively low, so I have a articular yarn that I just might be able to eek a sweater out of (if it doesn’t die from being frogged a second time).
