The time has come, the walrus said, to talk of other things … really, to talk about any thing.
It occurred to me the other night that I once wrote every day. Whether the topic was profound or inane, I pushed myself to create something and share a little piece of myself on a daily basis. I feel that this not only helped me improve my grasp of the English language (which, I assure you, is lacking on many mornings), but it also helped me maintain a better sense of balance in my life.
Having a blog for the monkey certainly helps me keep an easier peace with myself, but I find that I am slowly beginning to lose my ability to see myself (or be seen as) anything but a mother.
